It sure was cold out there today, and WINDY, but we still managed to get some good shots around my small town, and once we headed for a warm refuge in the family's living room, the kids really relaxed and got a little more candid! Here's some of my favorites:

Finally, I had a pair of twin girls that were FULL of energy!! They were more interested in meeting my boys and exploring my fridge magnets than having their pictures taken, and they insisted on a few pictures of their stuffed friends too!

I LOVE Pinterest, and this family actually found me on Pinterest!! How cool is that?? Who knows, maybe some pictures from her session will be "pinned" too!

Next I had a rambunctious 15mth old and his family. This little cutie was all about exploring his environment. Mom finally got him to sit still by bribing him with yogurt and cookies.

The holiday mini sessions were a big hit, and there`s too many favorites for one post, so this will be in a few parts. These 2 boys were so cute and the whole family was a pleasure to photograph!

I had a great session with baby Jonathan and his family in their home. He was intent on keeping his eye on the strange lady with the strange noise making machine and not interested in smiling, but he warmed up at the end. Such a big personality in a little package! Thank you for the opportunity to capture these memories for your family!

It's that time of the year already!! I don't know about you, but the holidays crept up on me!

I will be holding Holiday mini sessions for 2 days only: Sunday November 27th and Saturday December 3rd at my home in Carleton Place.

For only $60,  you get a 30 minute mini-shoot using my 2 holiday sets, all your high-quality images on a disc to print as you wish, and your choice of custom designed holiday cards (25 cards are included. Larger quantities are available). That's a better deal than any portrait studio.

An afternoon photo shoot at Mackenzie King Estate proved more difficult than anticipated when we discovered that they had closed all the roads to it and taken down all the signs for the season. We eventually all found our way and I had a great time chasing around this spunky 2 yr old and her mother. Thank you for the opportunity to capture these memories for you!
